Early Intervention & Re-Engagement Education

The Early Intervention & Re-Engagement programs were established to meet the needs of students in the early years of secondary school who are disengaged, at risk of disengagement or have low attendance rates at their mainstream school.

Encompassing a range of programs that are tailored to support students aged from 13 – 16 years of age, these programs aim to develop the student’s sense of self-worth, social wellbeing, build resilience and encourage engagement in a consistent and nurturing environment. With a dedicated group of staff, the Early Intervention and Re-Engagement programs work to support students through their early high school years.

Young Parents Education Program

The YPEP is an inclusive and flexible learning model for pregnant and parenting young people (15 to 21 years) to complete their education.

Students are encouraged to bring their babies into class whilst studying, allowing young parents to bond with their babies while they
complete their education. The learning space is designed to support optimal learning for both student and baby, with a Childcare Support Worker on hand to assist students with their babies, whilst a robust Student Wellbeing program ensures students are well supported.

The curriculum is written with young people in mind and incorporates parenting skills and knowledge. Employability skills, problem solving and developing a sense of competence as a learner are key areas of our program.

Community Education

Our community programs are designed to help people from all walks of life gain meaningful skills and community connection.

Offering a wide range of career and skill building courses, social groups and a comprehensive EAL program, our Community Education programs offer students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills that will support them in everyday life, moving into the workforce and provide a pathway into further education.
