TRAINEESHIP: Part Time, 18 Months

For VETDSS enrolments, please contact your home school.
This course is delivered over the course of 2 school years, 1 day per week.

Note – to complete the certificate, students must complete all of the course units.

This comprehensive Certificate III qualification has been developed to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to work within the Early Childhood Education & Care industry as:

  • Early childhood educator
  • Family day carer
  • Nanny
  • Out-of-school hours care assistant
  • Recreation assistant

Students must be employed in a Registered Education and Care Service for a minimum of 13 hours per week and a training contract must be completed by the employer and trainee before training can commence.

Fees are correct as of March 2024. The delivery mode for all courses at Foundation Learning Centre is via face-to-face and a mix of flexible remote or online learning unless specified otherwise. Student tuition and materials fees as published are subject to change given an individuals circumstances at enrolment. To be eligible for a concession amount, a valid concession card must be produced at the time of enrolment. FLC’s online service standards are located on our website.
