This course is available as an Adult Learner, Traineeship, or as a VETDSS course.

Through hands-on training and theoretical learning, participants develop the essential skills to create enriching environments where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. From fostering meaningful interactions to ensuring safety and wellbeing, this course equips individuals with the knowledge and expertise needed to excel in the dynamic field of early childhood education.

TRAINEESHIP:

This course is delivered over the course of 2 school years, 1 day per week.


Note – to complete the certificate, students must complete all of the course units.

TRAINEESHIP
Trainees must be aged between 17 and 21 and must be employed in a registered Early Childhood Education and Care Service for a minimum of 13 hours per week and a training contract must be completed by the employer and trainee before training can commence.

A current Working With Children’s Check card is required.
