These are community courses for people who want to engage with others in the community while learning new skills and having fun.

Join in with this walking group to enjoy some exercise and socialisation.

Nothing beats that warm fuzzy feeling of gifting something you’ve created with love and kindness. Crochet for yourself or to make gifts for your loved ones. 

Come along for a session or every week.  No matter what age you are you can support others or learn from experienced knitters and meet new friends.

Sessions: Weekly

Date: Wednesdays, beginning 2nd February

Time: 9.30am – 11.30am

Cost: $5 per session

Our mature adults support and social group undertake a variety of activities from crafts, outings and special events. New participants are always welcome. It’s a great way to make new friends in our community.

Sessions: Weekly

Date: Thursdays, beginning 3rd February

Time: 9.30am – 11.00am

Cost: $5 per session

This introductory program is ideal for those looking for a
different employment path or developing your baking and
decorating skills. Learn new recipes and cooking terminology,
and discover techniques for decorating biscuits and cakes.
A materials list is available on enrolment. Additional material
and equipment needed for the next class will be notified by
the tutor. 

Sessions: 9 sessions

Date: Tuesdays, 8th February – 6th April
*No class will run on Cup Day

Time: 7.00pm – 9.30pm

Cost: $135 (full funded fee)   $50 (concession)

Students are introduced to the skills of acting and theatre performance, while developing their confidence as individuals. Through drama exercises and games, the children have heaps of fun while learning basic stagecraft, voice production, improvisation, character and teamwork.

For over 25 years Adlib has been passionate about sharing the wonder of theatre. By offering a vehicle for students to feel the warmth of the spotlight, while knowing that beyond that light there is a supportive team of Adlibians.

Students are encouraged to create their own scripts, perform solo pieces, and work on longer pieces for entry into local One Act Play festivals. Focus is given to combining acting techniques that incorporate the body, emotions, character, and mime in improvisation and other performances.
