The Keys to Customer Service - Retail and Hospitality

This course is ideal for the entry level customer
service roles within the Retail or Hospitality
industries. This five-session intensive course includes a site visit that incorporates both retail and hospitality in a tourism environment.

You will learn about the Six Stages of Customer Service and work ethics as well as the following:

RETAIL
Participants will understand what Retail is, the retail chain and learn about different job roles.
Learn how to understand, analyse and apply store presentation, promotions and types of customers. You will learn about and apply selling skills.

HOSPITALITY
This element will cover all aspects of customer service in hospitality, including meeting and greeting, preparing tables, taking accurate orders front of house duties, communicating orders, payment handling, health department regulations and more.

NDIS - The Business of Disability Support

Embark on a transformative three-week journey with our dynamic course.

Offering 5 hours of engaging daily sessions over 3 days each week, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

Assess your strengths and suitability for NDIS roles through our self-assessment section.

This is a pre-employment course aimed at unemployed and underemployed learners who want to gain employment in the care and support industry.

On completion of the course, the learners will have the opportunity to apply for any relevant positions in care and support services and consider opportunities for further education.

Coursework will be relevant for the care and support services industry and includes content such as:

  • Overview of care and support including the various roles and opportunities available in this industry.
  • Legislative and ethical considerations in care work.
  • Safe work practices.
  • Concepts such as person-centred care, social inclusion, respect and empowerment.
  • Communication skills and skills to work effectively with others.
  • Practical skills awareness through guest speakers where possible.
  • Pathways to further training and/or employment include entry-level support work, Certificate III in Individual Support.
