Our community programs are designed to help people from all walks of life gain meaningful skills and community connection.

We have been a proud neighbourhood house for more than 40 years and thrive on connecting members of our community through education, skill building and social opportunities, and are a dedicated Learn Local provider.

Computer & Career Skills Development

These programs have been created to help people of all ages gain computer and administration skills in order to elevate their career prospects or simply become more technologically savvy.

English & Literacy Courses

If you’re looking to improve your English language skills, our range of language and literacy classes can help with speaking, writing and conversation. We can help you build the skills required for participation in the community and workforce.

Industry Short Courses

Short courses are a great way to quickly gain new skills in a specific industry area to enhance your employability.

Neighbourhood House Programs

Make new friends while developing a new skill or hobby with our wonderful range of community-focused general interest programs.

Community partner programs

Enhance your industry knowledge with Food Safety & Responsible Service of Alcohol programs. Delivered by CFT International, community members can learn Food Safety Training (Levels 1 and 2) or Responsible Service of Alcohol. All of these programs are completed online.
